Heh...quite funny actually, but I do believe that, the actual cartoon being offensive or not, one particular "line" has been crossed anyway: In traditional islam, depictions of the prophet are forbidden per se. So, whatever you do with it, the second you got a picture of Mohammed, in theory, you "broke" that rule, whether you follow islams tradition or not. It´s quite like drwaing God in Judaism and/or Christianity. (Why it is okay to worship the tiny images of Saints, though ,is unclear to me. )
