That is a lil' bit stupid. Most of them are veg by ethical reasons, so just the though is repugnant to them. You could make fun instead of certain restaurants that try to "convert" non-veg or cater to those thinking vegetarian = diet by naming dishes with popular meat or fish dishes names. That's a bit different.

I have no idea how tofu is eaten in Brazil and maybe your comment does show - how was it? - limited knowledge of certain things, like geography, or maybe just a distraction, but then not important.

Being a vegetarian, I'm not sure if I like this cartoon. I realize some people do it, but a good vegetarian eats tofu only occasionally, making it a part of a varied diet that is required for anyone, 'carnivores' and vegatarian alike.

I have no idea why there are companies that make products that look like meat, but have no meat in it, as if they think they can trick a meat-eater into buying their product.

What I do find striking is how many people say they need meat on their plate for dinner, and how few of those are willing to take that meat from a live animal (that means: butcher their own meat). A real 'carnivor' should do that at least once to have the right to say he eats meat and is proud of it.
