But why would it change the gulf stream? OK, if the water level rises, the coastline would change... a bit. But after all, the edge of the continental plate would be the same, so the stream should remain in its place... global warming is stupid. How could something freeze when we're boiling it?

actually, I have heard that the global warming should reduce the average temperature in Denmark - this should be due to the change of the gulfstream of the Atlantic ocean...

I think the reason the weather is changing is the same reason the earths magnetic field is changing. Our magnetic north isn't the same as it used to be, and it gets worse year after year.

Yeah, "global warming" is quite misleading. Since actually it causes extreme weather conditions in places where they wouldn't usually happen. Hence we in Finland don't get so cold winters anymore while there are snow blizzards at the mediterranean.
