You can start looking now to get an idea of what you like and what you don't like. Don't make a descision until the year before your wedding. Its always best to get it a year in advance. I got mine in march of this year and my dress won't be ready until 8 weeks before the wedding which is in june 2010 and that doesn't include alterations. Ugo from Canada is very right. I hav a tie and a briefcase so everybody thinks i am a cool lawyer or something. It also works in reverse: if the client doesn't have a briefcase and a tie, they're not pros - it's simple as that. It more difficul with women, because saome of them do have briefcases but they don't wear ties.

After all law school is only a matter of briefcase and tie : the client must THINK you're professionnal.
