It's them!!! Someone has stolen mine a few weeks ago but I thought it was the work of crazy-ass beavers... but no it was obviously fucked-up ghosts work. Blast them!

Ghosts are incorporeal and therefore make no sound. They make their presence known by clanking chains.
The ghosts depicted are evil and so steal their chains. Some ghosts are more pathetic than evil and are bound by chains such as duty or love.

It's very common to have ghost stories about chain noises... etc...

um, I guess it will sound weird, but I don't get it. Seriously. I mean, chain because, the sound?

I tried to search about it on Google, but no result to explain what should ghost+chain mean. :(
